I'd like to say, ethically speaking, I'd return the wallet. But realistically, no way would that happen.

If it was a woman's wallet, or a purse, I'd definitely return it without taking any money. Makes me look like a good guy.

If it was a guy's wallet, I'd take a look at his driver's license to see if he looked like a tool. If so, I'd take all the money and sell the credit cards to drug dealers.

you have to look at it like this If you are to irrisponsable (Pardon my spelling) to hold onto your wallet than you must not want it to bad.
(never 1 time missplaced my wallet but I also can sense money LOL gotta have a green thumb when money is tight) the 1 thing in the back of my mind is this frickin wallet and how much of a pain it is LOL. Picture the "Seinfeld tv series" George Costanza's wallet thats my wallet LOL

I once found a wallet with like 250 euros in it when I was a kid ( euros didnt exist back then but ok

) I returned it and got a 50 euro reward woot

And I left my wallet at a copy machine at my university not too long ago, some ass did return my wallet ( left it at the front desk ) but did take my money.

Luckily, I never carry around big amounts of cash and just pay everything by card

I'd actually return it assuming it had some form of identification in it. If not, take the money and discard the wallet. Not like the dopey town I live in has any rich people in it.
